you look like her, you envision her aura

you reek of her flames except your like wind- free flowing through life and acceptance, not her.

she is gone and you're here.

the shapes of you perpetuate her good

before the opposite

you there she’s there and leaves again

the wind blows the vibrant streaks of your hair

as you speak of the truths and lies of thoughts

while behind a counter of money and power

this renounced glow of you as you walk,

as you talk, as you are

similar to her.

the colors of the wind outside change,

calling through times changing.

it was winter when she disappeared

it's summer.

you are an outline of what she could’ve been

you left and nowhere to become

the ashes are left behind trailing this amnesia

that i feel,

the envy and loneliness for the longing i wished for

of you -

other than looking at her who reminds

of you

YOU LOOK LIKE HER
